Almonds Wine Grapes Tomatoes Oranges Lettuce Walnuts Strawberries
Avocados Table Grapes Pistachios Nectarines Peaches Plums Cabbage
Kiwifruit Pears Artichokes Cauliflower Apricots Carrots Broccoli

The nutrient needs of vegetables and nut trees in California agriculture will vary depending on the specific crop, soil type, and growing conditions. However, in general, these crops require a variety of nutrients to support growth, including nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, iron, zinc, and boron. The benefits of using fertilizers include increased crop yields, improved crop quality, and better plant health. There are various fertilizers used for different types of crops and soils.

Sac Ag’s thiosulfate focused product line brings new local production to the California agriculture industry. Sac Ag sets itself apart from other chemical suppliers on the west coast due to the fact we have multiple stocking points in the central valley and production in Sacramento. Macronutrients are important for plant growth. Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K) are the three primary macronutrients in fertilizers.  It is used to improve crop quality, increase crop yields, and improve plant health.

In addition to macronutrients, plants also require small amounts of micronutrients such as iron, zinc, copper, and manganese. Micronutrient fertilizers are used to correct micronutrient deficiencies in soils and improve plant health and productivity.

Water Treatment

In California, several steps are taken to ensure that the water used for washing fruits and vegetables is treated to minimize any potential contaminants and disposed of safely. Sac Ag offers products for the treatment of waters used in the processing of raw fruits and vegetables and other raw agricultural commodities.
